Supplies Needed: Tube of your choice. Im using a bonus tube from the lastest promotion CILM ran. You can use a tube of your choice. PTU scrap kit, Christmas, by Sky Scraps, which may be purchased here. Trees and clouds, tubes by Rainbow Coffi, here. Filter: VanDerLee Snowflakes (optional). Animation Shop (optional). Font: Ekaterina Vellikaya One. Let's begin! 1-Open an image of 800x800 pixels and flood fill it white. Open the file SkyScraps-Frame1.png. Copy, paste as new layer, resize desired. Using the Selection tool, make a selection on this frame. Selections> invert. 2-Highlight the background layer. Open the tube of clouds, copy, paste as new layer, position. Click delete on your keyboard. Keep selected. Repeat the process adjusting the tube as necessary. Open the tube of trees, copy, paste as new layer. Resize desired. Position to your liking. Click delete. Repeat de process and layers > move down. Fix to your taste. Click delete on the keyboard. Selections> none. Drop shadow in the frame layer. I applied the following layers to colorize the trees and clouds: Adjust> Hue and Saturation> Colorize Hue = 66 Saturation = 20 3-Open the file SkyScraps-Bow2.png. Copy and paste as new layer. Resize appropriate position on one of the trees. Layers> duplicate> resize and position right on another tree. Repeat once more this process. See my tag for reference. 4-Open the file SkyScraps-XmasTree.png. Copy, paste as new layer, resize desired. Place the right side. Drop shadow. Open the files: SkyScraps-box_with_gifts.png SkyScraps-gift3.png SkyScraps-gift.png SkyScraps-Element9.png SkyScraps-Element8.png SkyScraps-stocking.png Copy them, paste as new layer, resize appropriate. Position to your liking. Drop shadow. 5-Open your tube, copy, paste as new layer. Resize appropriate. Position, drop shadow. Open the file SkyScraps-CandyCane3.png. Copy, paste as new layer. Resize appropriate. Position the top left. Drop shadow. Layers> duplicate> image> mirror. Position the top right. See my tag for reference. Add your text, ©copyright, license and watermark. If you want animation with snow, let's do it: Open the AS. Highlight the frame layer. Select again the frame layer, using the Selection tool. Add new layer. Take this layer below the layer of the frame. Apply the filter VanDerLee Snowflakes in the following configuration: ![]() Selections> none. Edit> Copy Merged. In AS> Paste as New Animation. Go to the PSP, Undo until no layer of snow. Reapply the filter, but change the Random Seed to 6. Selections> none. On AS> Paste After Current Frame. Repeat the process 2 more times for a total of 4 frames with snow. Change the Random Seed to 12 and finally 24. Save your tag in .gif. ![]() I hope you enjoyed this tutorial! |
